It has a 47 on Metacritic, which is really not bad for this kind of movie. If nothing else, it at least sounds like it's not the complete and absolute train wreck I was expecting.

I was pleasantly surprised. Kids loved it, and quite a few nods to nostalgia for the parents.

Not a massive fan of Jim Carey but he was acceptable enough, and Damien Darkh certainly got put in his place.

Lots of fan service, while being pretty much a perfect kids movie. Sonic is adorable.

I was a huge fan growing up, I'd have killed for this movie back then.
