Can you say if this a single "test" release or are there more W13 novels in the works?
As far as I know, there is only one book currently in the pipeline, although I would love to do another one. (As would several other authors I know.)
There is also a comic book in the works.
JD, I don't know that any creative teams have been announced. I certainly haven't seen any mention of them. It's going to be published by Dynamite.
Currently reading Imperial Moon by Christopher Bulis. The Fifth Doctor and Turlough encounter the 1878 British lunar expedition.
Starting H.G. Wells' The Outline of History. I rather like Wells, and am interested in a 19th century intellectual's perspective on world history, particularly on the issues that led to the Great War.
I finished Paths of Disharmony the other day. I really enjoyed it but was kind of disappointed that the Typhon Pact was barely in it, especially considering Typhon Pact is the name of the miniseries. Though not a big deal at all, I was somewhat surprised that
I've since started on Stargate Atlantis: Angelus. After that I'll be reading Seeds of Dissent from MyrU: Infinity's Prism.
none of the characters ever compared the Treishya to Terra Prime, seeing as how they have similar ideals.
Well, they existed 230 years apart. How often are present-day groups or factions compared to things from the Revolutionary War? (Well, aside from the Tea Party, which doesn't actually have that much in common with their historical namesake.)
i'm branching off into new scifi that doesnt have the words star, trek or wars in it. I just started "Off Armageddon Reef" by David Weber. Really enjoying it so far. Nice change of pace, reading characters i know nothing about.
Finished Demons of Air and Darkness and Horn and Ivory in short order and have moved on to Mission Gamma: Twilight.
Two observations:
1) After the last few medium-sized books, MG:T is rather imposing/daunting both in large page count and tiny font size. I might be here a while.
2) A certain genre property has nearly ruined the lovely word that is "twilight", as whenever I see the title now my brain briefly flashes on brooding teenage girls and pouty, sparkly vampires.
