Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

SMALLVILLE is better than most and going on for 10 seasons is a testament to that...however it could be better...a lot better.

Oh Matt...I'm Adam by the way lol. Lois and Clark was arguably a better show than "Smallville" despite being a different show and still having silly story lines lol.

I could never get into Lois & Clark. SMALLVILLE with all it's faults is still better than a lot of crap churned out by networks over the past 10 years. Don't get me wrong among Superman related stuff...it is pretty low on the totem pole.

I watched the first episode of Hellcats last night. Y'know, executively produced by Tom Welling. For conceptually being practically no better Bring it On FOUR: THE REVENGE!... And having no idea how much work Tom does, not that he's a grown man in his 30s who should be able to produce a show if someone tells him that that is his job now, or admit defeat and begin sport drinking himself into an early grave...

It wasn't that bad.

Actually it was good.

(Pilots can be misleading, because formulas quickly set in and things get tired. But THE ODD COUPLE are forced to share a room to earn their scholarships, meanwhile they all have to win at nationals, i mean great shades of Glee, "Qualifers" or the cheerleading program is going to be cut, and there's a Joan Collins villain running about trying to frack over the new kid on the block upset that she's no longer the fairest one of all after breaking her arm and losing her spot on the team.)

And it seems to be a big story but also full of the regular plots I most recently bumped into while rewatching Popular last week and gods help me look at all the RECOGNIZABLE actors from all over the place loitering the hell about out all over this series.

Fame being relative, it took me ten minutes to identify The Suite Life on Deck's Ashley Tisdale (She hasn't been in anything else has she?) hidden under this brunette mop which didn't subtract even an ounce of outer beauty, who I was not expecting since all I was looking forward to was Ben Browder as the Boozey Football coach, who it turned out was not in the show after all by the final cut.

But if this Hellcats show is good, maybe even great, as great as a teen drama can be, y'know ORIGINAL 90210 great, Dawson's Creek great, because Tom has been hiding his brain for the last ten years, fuck him for hiding his brain and bring it the fuck out of the closet and make Smallville a better program already you giant closeshorse!

I'm just wondering if Tom is secretly competent?

Because if he is a good producer, then maybe we can be spared his acting in the coming year and a half till the world ends.

Remind me again, time and date the new season begins?

Who's got control of the running commentary/grading thread?

Please. With the exception of that very special episode of Deal No deal, I shit you not, go google it, Comicon is the only place in the world you can see 40 girls dressed up as Princess Leia in her slave girl golden bikini costume congregating.

Sure there might not be that much sex, but the volume of nerds spanking off in toilet stalls within proximity to such a parade would be incalculable. Hells, they'd be releasing into potted shrubs to avoid loo queues and get back to the spectacle, quickmarch.

Don't talk bad about comic-con Guy...because the answer to everything in the universe isn't 42(that is an Illuminati lie) it's actually COMIC CON!!!!

Oh and by the way in case NX or Trekker can't do it this year I officially Jetfire to host "Smallville" Friday's...and "Supernatural" should have ended last season. I refuse to watch this season.

I will do it...but people have to know I am. don't want repeat threads popping up like a few times before. :sigh:

he CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description for "Shield", the second episode of Season 10 of "Smallville".

It is either a big F* up by the CW...because it says the same thing on several sites or they are putting a new spin on it.
