I think that's part of where I'm coming from on this. With those two in charge (with input, no doubt, from Welling) I just don't see this going in a fan-friendly direction. It would be great if Jet and the rest of us got our wish early on, that he puts on the frakkin' suit and flies, but then the problem becomes if they give us the pay-off that early, will the rest of the season, with him being Supes, seem almost anti-climatic?

I don't know. I have high hopes for this season, then again, I remind myself of the times in the past when we've been disappointed by what's transpired on the show.

That said, I'll be here with the rest of you two weeks from tonight.

Oh I'm sure that since Tom has been elevated to executive producer and the other half of the showrunners left last year that he has had a tremendous amount of input if not influence on Brian and Kelly. I don't think he dictates what he wants but I'm sure they have tons of conversations between the three of them on the direction of the show. The interviews he has given about wanting everyone back this season would indicate his "power".

About when Clark will fly and wear the suit...as long as it happens...that is all that matters at this point...if the show ended with none of that...

Proc will be missed...but the two of us, Sammy, and Guy will continue to dominate this thread for the next two weeks Jet. I love that picture...one of the things I'm actually excited about and like you guys with hesitations I hope it's executed.

I was thinking...just for fun...maybe those who would be willing and able to participate in creating an Alternate "Smallville" fan fiction project? We could create our own web or blog or use facebook or something and write and post the stories? Any takers?

I might be up for it...but I can't write...I do come up with alot of ideas though.

Oh I see what you mean...lol. Yeah that's fine I have tons of ideas myself. Maybe after we see what they have come up with after a few episodes we can talk about it. I was on the Sky Train yesterday and went past the set and there was a ton of activity...this was around eight in the morning so they should have been already an hour into shooting.

They blocked off part of it so I couldn't see any of the actors...but there WERE Luthor Corps trucks parked in the back warehouse for the first time in months!

Aside from going by the set almost every other week and the high school they used for exteriors for Smallville High not really.

I know Tess is going to try and redeem herself this season and taking over at Watchtower helping Clark & Oliver...I hope she has a good arc and her character ends well.

I was actually trying to get a better cap. They should take all these 5-10 second previews and put them together in a longer one...I am sure some fan has done this on YT already.
