Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

^ The answer to that question has been stated already...he doesn't want to shave his head and or wear a bald cap. This is obviously been an important principal (if that is the right word) of his so I don't really begrudge him. I think if Mike really wanted to come back he would have come back already. It's probably a matter of cash right now. Toss him the right amount and he'll be back.

I'm seriously considering taking a break from here (the bbs) ...not a prolonged one...and I'll probably make my final decision sometime today or tomorrow.

I know the feeling...I felt like doing it a couple of times over the last few months...as people always tell me...the board will be here when you get back. :sigh:

He said in an interview a few years back that he'd only come back for the finale.

Its interesting to gather up all the people who have had problems with shaving their head constantly.

Christopher Judge from Stargate SG-1 said it was downright painful

From interview with Sci Fi Wire excerpted at Solutions (Jun. 2004):

“It took a lot of years of begging and groveling for me to finally get it, but yeah, … [Teal'c's having hair] will be the most obvious change, definitely. I got really tired of it. Just shaving my head every morning. And by three quarters of the way through the season it was really painful to actually shave. So, you know, this is very welcome. Very welcome. Hopefully the fans will like it.
And on a related Superman note

-Gene Hackman only agreed to wear a bald cap at the first movie

-John Shea played a Lex Luthor with hair

Yes, but he had to be tricked into shaving off his moustache.

Shea wore a cap when he came back a season after his death.

Lex Clones should have hair, if it was only lost due to psychological stress from the meteor strike, however Bald clones will mean that "something" tampered with his dna at some point.

Don't go Young! You're one of the beautiful people!

Smallville's Aquaman Promises "Dark" Final Season
Remember Smallville's "bubble-gummy" Justice Leaguer Aquaman?

Well, sorry to break it to you, Kryptonites, but Alan Ritchson (aka Arthur "AC" Curry) just got word that his superhero alter ego will be, um, diving back into the CW hit's 10th and final season—and that the, um, bubbly character we once knew is no more...

"It's supposed to be a lot darker this year," Alan told us at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, "which I'm so excited about."

Which means Smallville fans should get excited, too!

Read more: Here!

:sigh:

The hook has been retconned recently thanks to Arthur being resurrected in Brightest Day. Anything is possible in "Smallville".

DC COMICS’ CHARACTERS DEADSHOT, CAT GRANT, CARTER HALL AND SHAYERA APPEAR — After Lois (Erica Durance) departs for Egypt, the Daily Planet hires a new reporter by the name of Cat Grant (guest star Keri Lynn Pratt) to take her place. An assassin named Deadshot (guest star Bradley Stryker) takes aim at Cat but Clark learns the man has a dangerous hidden agenda that involves The Blur. Meanwhile, Carter Hall (guest star Michael Shanks) turns up in Egypt to keep an eye on Lois and he tells Lois about his wife Shayera (guest star Sahar Biniaz). Glen Winter directed the episode written by Jordan Hawley (#3X6002).

No more Kat. :sigh:

I've decided that I'm not going to take a cold cut turkey break like Broc has done...I'll post every once in a while. Good they corrected their spelling error. No casting news yet either.

.If Rosenbaum doesn't want to shave his head then the best solution is to have him come back as a clone with hair. Something could happen to him and he pulls a clump of hair from his head implying that he'll eventually go bald. If that is a big reason keeping him away that's an easy solution. When Lex came back as a clone pretending to be his son he had long red hair. They could do something like that.

I think Rosey is looking for a big payday. I have seen some comments recently over at K-Site where he seems more open to it. I also think the PSW wanna play things up as much as possible to generate excitement for S10.

PSW=Peterson, Souders & Welling.

^
Alot of fans will be disappointed if Michael Rosenbaum doesn't atleast do one episode for the 10th & final season of SMALLVILLE. Rosey knows this & the PSW knows this...hell the clueless CW goons know this. :sigh:
