It does seem rather ambitious for them to pull off doesn't? I have high hopes and am excited probably more than my skeptical pessimistic side should allow me to be but damn it I just want a good send off. Suffered with this show for long enough. It's like I've been sitting inside Scorpius's Aurora Chair for the past (seven years for me) ten years. He looks like a poor man's Justin Hartley to be honest.

I don't even know what story would have worked for the final season to be honest...after the Kandorians it doesn't really leave much else but a Darkseid story...I am sure they want story and not each episode to be looking back at the previous 9 seasons and people getting married...like FRIENDS.

Yeah as they stated a while back that they have had a "checklist" that they've been marking off for the past three years. I'm sure finding a way to include an epic Darkseid storyline was on that list.

Honestly, if this all goes well, you do believe that they are going to try and squeeze a season 11 out of "us" and our dwindling patience?

I noticed what Sam Witwer is up to. "Being Human" the US adaptation. he's to be playing the "dead sexy" Vampire trying to coast under the radar with his werewolf buddy Jimmy Olsen.

Smallville money can't be that much (relatively speaking), but the weekly paycheck had to've been good.

IF they attempt to dick us around again with a season eleven then I'm bailing for good no matter what they do. The casting effort alone would indicate that this is indeed will be the finale season. I suppose if they REALLY wanted to and got the green light from the CW they could always do one MORE final final season with Tom as Superman.

If the finale is the best SMALLVILLE we've ever seen...then yes...if it is full of questions and doubts or just sucked...then they may need to redeem themselves.

Well, Chloe is going to die the final episode. thematically ast he heart she has to die again (She's died in two season finales right?).

There's no getting around that.

The entire show has been her story.

What's going to happen in the comics when Chloe meets Oliver?

What happened in the last episode of the love Boat?

Did Gavin keep his boat?

They have said, recently, that they are no opposed to the idea of Season 11.

I doubt it'll happen (if Blue Beetle doesn't get picked up it probably will happen though).

Blue Beetle I suspect as much as I love either rendition has a shorter life expectancy than Nightman.

But then, maybe Blue Beetle will inherit some of the Smallville cast?

Same here. I've put up with all the crap this show has had.

When did the discussion move from thoughts about season 10 to even season 11?

Season 10 has even aired yet,and the Darkseid story line would be a cool one even if Michael Dorn does Kalibak in full make up or even Darkseid himself,and Sam W. playing Kalibak since he's had practice in full make up as Doomsday.
Who knows they might find the other JSA members,and recruit them into the JLA Like GL(Alan Scott) etc as we saw in Absolute justice.
Chloe as Doctor Fate could happen since in Armageddon 2001 they have a female Dr.Fate.
Well that's my take on this discussiion I'm taking a break on this thread till season 10 starts next month.
