Spoilers She-Hulk: Attorney at Law discussion thread

As 'How I Met Your Mother' stories go, that one was a real corker. :guffaw: I wish Wong and Madisynn (with a Y, but not where you think) all the best.

And excuse me, what wedding?? Did Strange and Clea get hitched already?!? (I can only imagine Christine's reaction...)

I think we can rule out Titania being the Wrecking Crew's boss. Nice stunt with the trademark (and the process server), but she ain't that slick

You notice how they’ve been sprinkling deleted dialogue into all the ‘Previously On’ segments?

Kind of a strange legal approach taken with Donny Blaze though I guess for humor sake it's ok. For a third-rate magician he seems pretty good for three weeks training if you ask me.

I wonder if we'll see Madisynn again or if that's a one-off. She kind of won me over with her casual handling of the demon dimension.

Part of me wants to nitpick some things that I know the episode just wants the viewer to roll with. I don't think we're supposed to microanalyze this show.

I'm curious if there will be any jabs at Disney in the upcoming Titania trademark shenanigans?

Fun simple episode. The problem I have now though with this show is I just imagine what all the haters will be scrutinising right now to spend the next week incredibly OTT whining about..
<snip>
I say it all the time, don't do their work for them. Why should the first of those statements be your own?

IMO, this was probably the best episode so far.

It centered around a legal case with a clear dilemma. Although the case was probably contrived and unnecessary because if Blaze was such a threat, why did Wong not just take him somewhere safe instead of suing him in court?

It had some nice humor. I was pleasantly surprised by the action sequence with Wong and She-Hulk teaming up against all those demons. The episode also had a fun b-story about Jen/She-Hulk dating. The first date was terrible, but it seems the second date when she went as She-Hulk worked out pretty well.

I do wonder why the guy seemed to ditch her at the end. Was he just interested in sex with She-Hulk and was not interested in Jen or did her leaving in the middle to go fight demons, scare him off? But overall, fun episode. You are definitely not meant to think about it too much though.

I think he was just there for She-Hulk and having Jen show up in the kitchen spooked him. He was just there for the big green gal unfortunately.

That was a really fun episode, I liked the gag about Wong providing Twitter armour, though it's kinda depressing they knew they were going to get shat on by idiots (unless that line was a late addition?)

Maslany flawless as always, Benedict Wong really is wonderful and I think I could watch the hell out of a Wongers/Madisynn show! BTW, anyone else suspecting Madisynn might show up again in a villainous role? She did, after all, come to some arrangement with a demon to escape the fire dimension?

Only slight niggle? The cg when Wong was talking to She-Hulk in the office wasn't great. Mostly I haven't noticed but that seemed quite glaring.

A very silly episode. I loved the interactions between Wong and Madisynn (even if she also spoiled The Sopranos for me, too ) and I kind of hope we see her again at Wong's side.

The fourth wall breaking continues to be one of my favorite parts of the show. The biggest laughs for me were Jen acknowledging our happiness at seeing Wong again and noting that the episode ends on a bummer but it's okay because there will be a fun tag scene!

Have any of The Sopranos cast appeared in the MCU out of interest for fun? I think Adriana was in Agents of Shield wasn’t she?

Donny Blaze/Johnny Blaze link or just a worrying possible verbal slip for magicians? You swear vengeance on Johnny by mistake and you've got a burning motorbike up your bum before you know what's going on.

Before I realized the similarity to Johnny Blaze, I thought the name was a deliberate mockery of David Blaine (although until I just now Googled his name, I thought it was David Blaise).

They could have called him Tony Blake, Bill Bixby's character from The Magician.
Oh, man, now that would've been an incredible deep cut. One that even I would've missed since I still haven't watched it yet (but want to).

If it's a stage name, he probably chose it deliberately.

I really enjoyed Ep 4.

After the first episode, it was clear that there's still room for improvement in the CGI of the main character, which is fine and was to be expected, but some of the motion work in this episode was truly outstanding.

As always, it has heart. Titania's evil scheme is dynamite.

I really want to see a lot more She-Hulk and just plain ol' Jennifer Walters for that matter going forward in the MCU.

Indeed, but the depositions for Lee v Byrne on Jen's to do list was pretty close.

It's embarrassing how many times I mix up the edit and reply buttons.
