Nanoprobes are even better than chocolate!

Also...(mumbles, looks around shiftily)...I hear they can kick Robau's ass...(slinks into the shadows)

Yeah, but she would have had to wh@re herself out to Q in return for a trip home. With nanoprobes, there's none of that messy after sex business.

the ferengi certainly believed that they could package and sell docile nanoprobes they'd harvest from Sevens corpse, but this does bring up eugenics issues, and they have to be worried that this carefree utilisation of technology is what created the Borg in the first place.

Whoring herself out to Q wouldn't have gotten her home quickly, first or for very long, since Q described Janeway's life after giving birth as "exploring new dimensions" which means that she would have, the entire crew would have been wet nurses following the kid around sideways through reality.

And what did Susperia know abut doubling HUMAN life expectancy?

I've said many times that Borg nanoprobes would have greatly lengthened Kes' life span if not completely arrested the natural aging process... That you have to wonder why they don't all gte assimilated and then recovered in controlled conditions, so they're not grey and senile at the other end of their 70 year Voyage home?

I've always thought being an ex-drone would be useful. I want a bionic eye and super strength. Not sure why Seven needs all those thimbles on her one hand though.

Seven mentioned that one hand was more resistant to electric current shock. So I assumed it was used to "plug" into something in Borg tech.

I can just see Kes now talking to Susperia: "Umm, I know you tried to kill my friends and destroy their ship but can you be so kind and extend my life? Oh BTW, sorry about boiling Tanis' blood which wounded you in the process. My bad."

She might need an exoskeleton over that area of her body because her endoskeleton isn't up tot he job because perhaps it's been "replaced" or "refabricated" with something else? Maybe her radius had been converted into a staging area (kennel) for her nanoprobes to stockpile before they lept into her assimilation nodules that sprang from her wrists like wolverines claws?

Maybe there's an air compressor in her forearm which helps launch the nanoprobes?

Caretaker forgot that he raped Ransom's lot and sent out for more human forgetting that that species is incompatible with his own, and if Susperia is only half as senile as caretaker was, she might not even remember their last encounter either.

I didn't assume he forgot considering we never knew exactly what he was looking for to begin with. Only thing he said was: "You don't have what I need."

Of course a story in which Suspiria prolongs Kes's lifespan would be more coplicated and contain more twists in the tale than the scenario you describe. It could be something about Kes succeding in persuading Suspiria in some way that Suspirias hatred against Voyager was wrong and Suspiria giving Kes a prolonged lifespan as a sign of gratitude or so.

There are other options as well, including Q and The Doc.

But I guess that every attempt and every suggestion for some positive change for the character Kes just has to be ridiculed and dismissed. :(

Kes for Seven let's see.. least favorite VOY character for Favorite All Time Trek Character..

Only your opinion.

When it comes to Star Trek in general, Kes isn't "least favorite Voyager character" and Seven is far from "Favorite all time Trek character".

Well he either forgot, had little control over the ships he harvested, or he liked raping ships mostly stocked with humans as a holiday between actually doing what he claimed he was doing looking for a compatible species to make a baby with.

It is my firm belief that when the missile from Dreadnaught showed up, despite being unmanned, or unwomaned, banjoman still mounted it and did something to the missiles exhaust port with his genitals and that is why dreadnaught was so trauatized and running scard when Voyager eventually found it.

My bad.

Sorry for underestimating you.

The Borg are not idiots. (maybe they are?) They should have gone to Ocampa for either the latent space godling civilisation or the caretaker technology threaded through that city. Seven of Nine should have been the last Borg after kes had finished wiping the lot of them off the face of the galaxy, which means that most of those vs. the Borg and Vs. the Queen stories should never have happened.

Heaven forbid any opinion that doesn't make Kes a superhero.

No. They could've kept Kes and introduced Seven. Give Seven a bit less screentime and a decent uniform rather than the catsuit...
