I fully admit that I'd just watch Talos and Fury bickering for 6 episodes.![]()
If the rest of this series was just Fury, Talos and Olivia Coleman's character locked in a room together snarking at each other I'd die happy.

I didn't think of it that way at first, but if she is dead, doing this twice in the same show is not a good look for Marvel. Although it sounds like there were some scenes with her in the trailer we haven't seen yet, so it sounds like she might not be dead.I enjoyed the episode but I hope they didn’t just kill off another female character so that a male character has a motive for revenge.
I think the idea behind this is to finally give Fury his own story, since he's been a supporting character in every appearance he's had so far.Why even is this show a thing?
Disney+ shows mostly seem set up to introduce new characters and set up shit for the movies.
Does this do either?
Secret War has nothing to do with the Skrulls, it's based on the event series where a whole bunch of universes were destroyed , and all that was left were pieces of different universes which were combined into one world, which was controlled by Dr. Doom. All of the multiversal and Kang stories are setting up Secret Wars, not this.Possibly, at least I doubt it's a coincidence that there is an upcoming Avengers movie titled Secret War.
I'm surprised so many people don't like it. I'm enjoying it (despite its flaws) but I REALLY wish we would get some clarification on what the deal is with Ross. Or at least have one of the characters mention him. Is he at large? In Wakanda? At the Skrull HQ? Working with SWORD/SABER/Fury/Whatever?
Yeah, I brought that up after the first episode and also found it really weird not even Maria said anything after Ross was discovered to be a Skrull, nor didn't say anything about why she thought the real Ross was with her and not in Wakanda. I really hope that doesn't remain a loose end.I'm surprised so many people don't like it. I didn't think of that, but it seems plausible. I'm just not sure she'd be Brand though, if she was as much of a power player as she is in the comics, I have a feeling Fury would be aware of her, and would have had some kind to reaction the fact G'iah had taken her face. That, or G’iah really IS dead… and whoever’s face she was wearing (Abigail Brand?) wakes up, frees herself from that harness and joins the action while Talos finds out his daughter’s gone and goes total scorched-earth to avenge her.
Called itSo my guess would be, G‘iah underwent superfication off screen just before she fled.
Next episode her new extremis powers manifest and she heals.
Eventually she‘ll go full dracarys on Gravik.
I honestly thought Fury at first was one of Gravik's men testing her.On a quieter note, I enjoyed the tense conversation between Fury and Priscilla/Varra but it would've had far more weight if we more time to see their relationship instead of just one and a half episodes. The 2012 flashback was nice but it wasn't enough to bring that proper weight.
