I'm looking forward to Paramount's flip flop to BluRay. I used to work for them, and let me tell you, they make some of the worst business decisions I've ever seen, and I'm happy to see them lose this time too (is that so wrong?)
I'm sure this won't keep Mike Okuda and his great group from finishing the remastering project, it will just delay the sale of them in a high definition DVD format (BluRay). They won't want to pay for the HD DVD encoding themselves, esp. not for a dead format. Perhaps they can find another sponsor for the BluRay encoding and production. Toshiba did get a lot of exposure being linked to TOS-R that's for sure.
