Wilf was really a one off, its not like he was the companion for a full series.
I dont understand these calls for SJA characters to appear in Doctor Who, no matter how good they are, I dont see why Moffatt would want a RTDs character as his companion.
Dont get me wrong, he would make a good companion, and he has shown this both times he met the Doctor. Clyde is the kind of character who makes you wonder if its worth breaking the (only possibly) unwritten rule (it may actually be written somewhere) about the show having a lead female companion.
oh I understand why people want it, I just dont understand why people think it would actually happen.I dont understand these calls for SJA characters to appear in Doctor Who, no matter how good they are, I dont see why Moffatt would want a RTDs character as his companion.

What's hard to understand? They're popular characters well liked by the audience, they're already established in the universe and it would be fun to see them have a larger role in Doctor Who.

Besides isnt this the kind of thing Big Finish was created for?
clearly that is something I have failed to consider.oh I understand why people want it, I just dont understand why people think it would actually happen. What's hard to understand? Perhaps. But if we can only hear, and not see, Clyde and Luke making out with each other, what's the point?
oh I understand why people want it, I just dont understand why people think it would actually happen.
Ending was kinda rubbish. What was its plan, anyway?
i liked it, I'm guessing Sky wasn't affected since she's a Human Alien not an actual human. and i too liked Ellie. i also liked that Clyde said he gave Ellie because it's probably not her fault she's on the street, although i wasn't too impressed with him calling her a scrounger.
i loved the gag about what type of toad was in the toad in the hole!

Yep, she was also Naomi Campbell in Skins series 3 and 4.Was that homeless girl the sister in The Fades.?
that is more of a retcon than anything else, its not like the Trickster himself ever appeared in Doctor Who.and the Trickster's brigade started in SJA and moved over to Who proper.
It looks like the Night Dragon won't be the focus of the next story. That makes me so sad that we won't get a resolution.
