Sarah Jane Adventures: Series 4

Yep, 10 episodes, 1 episode twice a week means it's a pretty short series.

Pretty much, yep. Seems even shorter when they air them two episodes per week.

1/2 - The Nightmare Man
3/4 - The Vault of Secrets
5/6 - Death of the Doctor, aka The Return of Useless
7/8 - The Empty Planet
9/10 - Lost in Time
11/12 - Goodbye, Sarah Jane Smith

Ah yes, it's 12 episodes not 10.

Disappointed by the total lack of Clyni in the finale. (Except the phone message ((Yes, I really do care about a relationship on kid's show.))

Enjoyed it far more than I thought I would and it did actually have me on the edge of my seat in places. I had the same thought about Quetesh being thrown into the sun (and there is definitely a Go'uld with a similar name) but on reflection this is Sarah Jane, I somehow doubt she'd so blatantly kill someone (unless it was a Slitheen!).

Definitely the best series yet, looking at that list I don't think there's one I didn't enjoy.

Thought Luke's solution wasn't bad, even if it did rely to heavily on Zen and Orac...I mean Mr Smith and K9! And who'd have thought it, Gita saved the day!

Oh yes, and the splurge made me giggle far more than it should have :D

Awww, I enjoyed that, even though the 'feed it more energy than it can handle' strategy has been done WAY too many times.

Part 2 really made up for a weak first half. I was smiling by the end.

"Oh look, it didn't splurge." :D

I was willing Clyde to use the L word there, though my wife was thinking he was going to say "fancied you"

Part 1, an ok episode, ok so Ruby isnt the Trickester, good to see Luke & K9 in the next time trailer, however I hope he does a little more than guard Lukes phone.

Moving on, taking Sarah Jane voice file off Mr Smith cant be that much of an issue, he will still listen to Cylde or Rani.

No sing of the romoured Trickester, but maybe a deal is to be done, and dont forget the story starts with someone dying.

A decent story, although I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of The Trickster. Sure, it was a nice change in the formula, but what we got instead wasn't all that great.

What I did like about the story were the small moments: Gita comforting Rani (and showing she's not as dense as we thought), Luke showing up at Rani's door and demanding answers, K-9 and Mr. Smith's continued banter even in scenes they didn't share together, and of course Clyde's almost "I love you" moment.

I thought the Judoon were going to show up.

or is Clyde allowed in low orbit?
I guess if they had been in the area, but its not like the Judoon have put a tag of some form on Cylde.

That said, how did the robots from The Empty Planet know that they had to stay on Earth?

I assumed that they had been tagged.

I doubt they'ing being monitored by a person, but if they do go off world there's going to be flags going up if they arrive some where they shouldn't... However Clyde managed to hop it to the other side of the galaxy when he was transpositioning with Clyde to no untoward responce from the shadow proclamation.

maybe Cyldes tag has stopped working.

Or the planet they went to in the death of the Doctor was not under the protection of the Shadow proclamation?

The actress who played Rani was in the first season of the inbetweeners saying bad words and referencing sex.

That should mean that, four years later almost, that this other character is fair game for Clyde as a potential mate and not some little tweenie who should be playing with dolls.

I'm glad their "relationship" has began, and by begun I mean that they are walking up to home plate to bat.

"Sigh"
