I didn't know that when I started watching the show, though, so when I went to try to read the books, I couldn't get into them. *shrug* You don't need the books to enjoy the show.

I wonder how long into the season it'll take for two BFFs to reconcile. Probably one or two episodes is my guess.

Well, the baddies were pretty easy to identify as there were very few guest stars so there wasn't a lot of people to choose from.
The fighting between Jane and Maura was borderline childish as times. But it wasn't as intense as I was expecting which is a good thing since I don't want them fighting for too long. i didn't see the preview for next week but i'm guessing that they'll be best buds by the end of the episode.

Sure, like R&I can do, some plot points just stretch the imagination too much, still I love the interactions of the characters, whether its Frankie busting Jane's chops over the TP tail, or Jane pretending Korsak was her husband, or Mama Rizzoli trying to play 'matchmaker' for these two who can't let bygones be bygones.
I have to say, the car accident nearly made me lose my lunch!
I did like the end... in the car, when Maura told Jane she should call Mama and tell her they had made up.

Glad the show is back. This second episode of the season was a tense one and I'm glad to see Jane and Maura back as friends. They are like peanut butter and jelly!
Jane's father wanting to annul his marriage is despicable and selfish. He should take his divorce like a man and just get married through a Justice of the Peace instead for the second marriage. Instead, he wants to invalidate a long marriage and children he had with his first wife. Definitely douchey behavior.
