We lost Loretta Swit today. Best known for her role as Major Margaret Houlihan on the M*A*S*H TV series.

How sad! Margaret Houlihan started out as a caricature but she made her far more complex. She will be missed.

Major Houlihan is one of my favorite fictional characters, had one of the best arcs, and Switt added such life to the character. RIP Major, You are my favorite officer in the whole U.S. Army.
