Yeah. It allowed for story of the week and have variety. Piller said it's about our people but really still the external event was the driver for entertainment that week. It felt varied. Vs the claustrophobic feeling I was getting in Picard season 3 as it's largely the same story strand over and over in the same place.
I miss episodic TV generally. Would love an Outer Limits or old school Stargate right now.
