Red Angel Theories- Post Here

Excalbians?

They made a point of including Zora....

Up til now, everything the crew thinks it got from the 100,000 year-old creature is a big download of data and history. But what if some or part of its consciousness was transferred, too, and happens to be named Zora? 1,000 years is a good amount of time for that consciousness to surface and be more self-aware. But if the crew came back and wasn't hot on the idea of having this foreign consciousness occupying Discovery, they might have given it a robot body to inhabit, which became the Red Angel. Maybe.

Red Angel sound like it could be a cowboy name. And who's the the biggest space cowboy?
JAMES T. KIRK!!!!!!

Clint's glower is known to destroy entire star systems. It's a dilithium force.

Someone on Reddit was saying that the Red Angel is Amanda Grayson (you heard that right), based on foreshadowing from Brothers showing her in a flowing red dress when Michael first meets her.

Apparently, in her Search for Spock, she'll get timelooped while wearing an EV suit and has to do some Doctor Who-level shenanigans in order to both rescue Michael and Spock (and their friends) and also get them to rescue her from the time loops.

Not a bad one. It's likely to be somebody who cares about our main set of heroes, seeing as to how the adventures are hero-specific (nobody else ought to give a flying pancake about the Kelpiens, say) and how they absolutely require access to a spore drive ship. Now we get the hint that the Angel is female. There's this fierce mother thing going on. And there's no particular requirement for superpowers when Vulcan mystique and spore magic put together can take care of most of it, and a pair of clickety-clack wings from a shady vendor puts the finishing touches on the plan.

All we are missing is a direct clue as to where the time travel came from. Spores? Another phenomenon already familiar to us? Something we meet later in this season?

It's Zora, the DIscovery's future AI. She's trying to use time travel to engineer a specific event that will happen in the finale and it required all the events of the season.
