One of things I'm curious about with the Red Angel is if they are someone manipulating the timeline themselves, or if their trying to repair manipulations someone else has made.
That worked out great the last time...Sounds a little too much like the Temporal Cold War™, if not a continuation of said war.
I liked parts of it.That worked out great the last time...![]()
I liked parts of it.
Discovery and the Kelvin movies have been very kind to Enterprise but I think in general there is a mountain of stuff they know well enough not to visit. Future Guy is buried under a pile of Kazon props and forehead prostheses in the Star Trek Landfill. It was OK overall, but we don't need a continuation or anything similar to it in DSC.
Seeing as how it wasn't really a Star Trek episode but a backdoor pilot, I can see that. However, I am skeptical of it being removed.Though frankly Assignment: Earth is an incredibly dumb episode, even by TOS standards, and I'd be just as happy if they wrote it out of canon.
I guess this should return.
It's also an anagram of El Grande. So my bet is that it turns out to be Ariana Grande. Or possibly that woman from the Starbucks cups.Red Angel is an anagram of "Green Lad." This points to a Gorn if you ask me.
It is also an anagram for "Enlarged" As in Enlarged Enterprise. As in Red Angel is from Kelvin Universe! It all makes sense now!!Red Angel is an anagram of "Green Lad." This points to a Gorn if you ask me.
Written by Brannon Braga.- Red Angel is an anagram of "Read'n Gel"
- Gel you can read, as in the kind that comes from gel pens, which come in a rainbow assortment of colors.
- A Reading Rainbow, if you will.
- The Red Angel is none other than Geordi LaForge.
- From Geordi LaForge, you can spell: Red Afgel Igoor
- Which is like Red Angel Igor if it was pronounced by someone on meth.
- Igor, as in Dr, Frankenstein's assistant, as in a lab experiment gone wrong.
- Igor was not a character in the Mary Shelley novel, Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.
- But the Prometheus is a Starfleet ship from the future.
So I think I can state conclusively that the Red Angel is Geordi LaForge time traveling back from the future aboard the USS Prometheus to fix a temporal experiment gone wrong.
