That worked out great the last time...
I liked parts of it.That worked out great the last time...
It was OK overall, but we don't need a continuation or anything similar to it in DSC.
Discovery and the Kelvin movies have been very kind to Enterprise but I think in general there is a mountain of stuff they know well enough not to visit. Future Guy is buried under a pile of Kazon props and forehead prostheses in the Star Trek Landfill.
I still like the idea that Michael is an inserted character like Dawn from Buffy and that is why there are so many inconsistencies.
Whether or not she is the Red Angel, idk, but I do like the idea that its connected to Gary Seven and maybe even Zora as well.
Though frankly Assignment: Earth is an incredibly dumb episode, even by TOS standards, and I'd be just as happy if they wrote it out of canon.

Seeing as how it wasn't really a Star Trek episode but a backdoor pilot, I can see that. However, I am skeptical of it being removed.

Red Angel is an anagram of "Green Lad." This points to a Gorn if you ask me.
I guess this should return.
It's also an anagram of El Grande. So my bet is that it turns out to be Ariana Grande. Or possibly that woman from the Starbucks cups.

It is also an anagram for "Enlarged" As in Enlarged Enterprise. As in Red Angel is from Kelvin Universe! It all makes sense now!!
