I doubt it’s Shatner because he always seems to want too much money to show up. IIRC thats one reason why Shatner did not play chef on ENT.

I mean, there's always Shatners' own books.I'm just glad Kirk was retrieved by Project Phoenix. My imagination can do the rest, whether or not the character (or the actor) ever return.
