A lot of bad things has come out of the pandemic and it is shown up a lot of underlying issues in wider society. I don't think it is good thing to dwell on them as they are things outside of everybodys control. These things can be dealt with when things settle down. At the moment I just want to focus on the positive things.
A positive thing that has happened to me is that I get Star Trek and now I am a fan. The other thing that has come out of it is that I have started lifestyle changes which I probably should have dealt with years ago.
While I do think I am quite a fit individual, I haven't been leading a particularly healthy lifestyle. The biggest one is the late nights. Now I enjoy getting to my bed early and getting more sleep. The other thing is that the Scottish stereotype of eating everything deep fried is more truer than I had admitted. I eat healthily during the week but the weekend are my downfall where I eat rubbish. I used to love the fried breakfasts and fried takeaways like fish suppers but now I have given them up. I had recently tried a fish supper and it was rotten. The fried breakfasts have gone as well. Lastly, I drank too much coffee and now I have caught that done to the occasional cup which I enjoy more.
When things get back to a bit of normality, I can't see myself going back to my unhealthy ways.
Has anybody else had any similar experiences where for instance lifestyles changes have been made?
