POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in S3

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

Some not-so-final results:

So far A story Arc is in the lead with 26%

Seems the Vulcan and the Engineer are setting minds racing with possibilities ( ;) ) because Trip/T'Pol intimacy romps (and I mean that figuratively :p ) into 2nd place with 24%

A lot of people are also looking for something else other than what's listed with Other finding home in 3rd spot with 13%

And Darker Archer finishes of the top 4 with 11% of the votes.

Seems no-one cares about the TCW/Suliban angle or the changing laws of Physics inside the Expanse with both scoring no votes :(

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

The press release from UPN that reads, "With the departure of Enterprise, UPN is proud to welcome 'Son of The Greatest American Hero' to the Wednesday night lineup. Ashton Kutcher, best known as Kelso on 'That 70's show,' stars as the son of Ralph Hinkley (reprised by actor William Katt). Some twenty years have passed since space aliens gave Ralph his bright red super-suit (sans instruction book). Ralph has since retired from the super hero business to settle down with his wife Pam (Connie Sellecca) and raise a family. In the series opener, his son finds the super-suit in the basement and thinks it would be the perfect costume for his fraternity's halloween party. Little does he know it's not just a costume...it's his DES-TI-NY!"

Exec. Producers Willam Katt & Norman Lear

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

You became a mod just so you could do polls, isn't that true? Honestly, Xindi-sloths?

I marked Other just because I need some Trip, bad. I'm not all for hellfire and damnation Trip for its own vengeful sake, or even Trip and T'Pol (please don't let him play with her ears!!), just more Trip in general.

A4T :D

That was rather choice in their infamous decon scene when she flinched away as he was rubbing gel on her ears. Then she rubbed his. Nice. Too bad those idiots made him shave his chest.

I voted the many beatings of Archer. I mean, I enjoyed watching Kirk beat up every other episode, why not Archer? :D
You sadist... :)

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

Who made Trip shave his chest? You mean TPTB did for that scene? I shudder when I think of Phlox's bare chest...and not in a good way.

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

The producers, presumably. He doesn't have any chest hair in that scene and he always has it later on in the series. He is much more attractive with it.

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

what about phlox?

do you prefer him with or without bodyhair?

I am so excited about the Trip/T'Pol intimacy. I have seen potential for them for a long time. I have two Trip/T'Pol stories to my credit.

They will make an exciting pair! I think they will as successful a pairing as P/T did in Voyager. This relationship should help re-engergize Enterprise.

I can't wait for Season 3 to start.

Long Live Trip/T'Pol!!!

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

Hi,

I posted yesterday pointing out what fundamentally bad science "Enterprise" has, and what a political document it is representative off America's current phobias.

Today it is gone. Deleted.

What's wrong site manager? All comments allowed as long as they are not very critical?

"Enterprise"'s writing is to Sci Fi in the new Millenium, what "Plan 9 From Outer Space" was in the Cold War. Better graphics and filming technology, but just as laughable.

We quit watching after four episodes, because the science was truly, remarkably and irrepreparably bad.

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

Bad science in a Trek show?!? Tell me it ain't so!

You must have just lost track of it. It's in this thread.

If you "lose a post", you can click on your name at the left and when it pulls up your profile, at the bottom there is a "show all user's posts". You'll find a list of all of your posts easily.

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

Oh dear. Good thing Im no scientist, because I cant tell the difference between good science and fundamentally bad science.
BUT I do know what I find entertaining....

I know the difference, since I grew up on science fiction (the real stuff: Clarke, Asimov, et al) and I don't care. Bad science is a Star Trek tradition. They shouldn't stop now! :)

Re: POLL: What are you looking Forward to most in

*swivels head indignantly like the Holodoc in VOY*

"I'm a trek fan, not a scientist!"

:D :D :D :D :D

I voted for those damn Xindi. Sure, the name says "Bogus African Tribe" but I'm sure they'll turn out to be pretty cool.
