How shitty is this weather? It's no better where I am, though the cold is sometimes replaced with a sudden blast of warm humidity, which doesn't help.

You'd best go by yourself, though. Apart from the fact that I'm so pale I go crispy in the sun, I don't do beaches. Those bloody Greenpeace hippies keep trying to roll me into the ocean while shouting "Keep it wet!" the entire time. It becomes annoying after a while.

Be glad I'm not on some Greek beach right now. I'm so pale without a shirt I could blind the pilots of an Airbus traveling at 35,000 feet and drive sea life miles off shore.

One reason I don't really like taking my youngest child to the beach is because he's so skinny. He's tiny for his age, and he has pretty much no fat on him, so when he takes off his shirt you can play the xylophone on his ribs. Even his skinny little legs sticking out underneath his shorts make me cringe. I always want to put a sign on him saying "My mother does feed me. Honest!".
