The Not-Sushi a coworker made for another coworker's birthday today. They are actually rice krispy treats wrapped in fruit roll-ups with swedish fish. The "wasabi" is green frosting.

Spent the weekend making invitations and other things for my sister's wedding. Sorry about the blurry pics! And for having to blur out other stuff, but I wanted to protect the privacy of my family members.
This is the menu, with a thank you note layered underneath. These will go on the plates at the reception.

On Wednesday night I stopped into a bar to have one beer, and by the end of the night I had run up a $200 bar tab. I don't really remember much of the night, but apparently this happened. Whoops.
My coworkers have been wondering what I'm like when I'm drunk since I started my job 3 months ago. Now they know, and apparently they loved it. I have been described over the last few days as "the funniest drunk person ever."

Thanks! They actually look way better in person. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they turned out! I found this great paper that has kind of a shimmer to it but didn't cost an arm and a leg.
No, although I have done programs for a bride back in my wedding planning days. That was more of a favor than about making money, though. My sister and I are just into craft type stuff. And when we saw how much wedding invitations would cost, I suggested doing it ourselves.
It's fun, you know? Although I'm nervous about them going out this week. I kept asking my husband "They don't look like I just made them on Microsoft Word or something, do they?" Even though that's exactly what I did.
Kestra those are really impressive (so is the menu - I'm hungry).

Thanks! You guys are too nice. I just wanted to help my sis have the kind of invites she wanted. One of our friends came over this weekend and has already recruited me for her wedding, if she ever gets married! I like helping family and friends.
