A little late to the theme park discussion, but I love the Disney parks. We have annual passes and get out there at least once a month.

This is me on the left...

Many moons ago when I was an undergrad, I worked there. This was taken in the undersea scene of the Horizons ride at EPCOT Center...

As promised, a picture of my cat Spider 'painting'. It isn't a very good photo because Spider doesn't like having his photo taken and tries to saboutage any photo I take of him.

The app has a little mouse running around the screen and when the cat tries to catch it 'paint' is left behind.

My cat Spider has decided to turn his attention toward art. His favourite app on the iPad is now Paint for Cats. This is one of his pictures "Psycatdelic Dreams".

When he uses my iPad later today I will take a photo of him "painting".

I like this better than a Jackson Pollock, so yay on your cat.

The real Miss Chicken, who will turn 14 this year, has failing sight and I dont think she sees things on the iPad all that well.

My other cat Georgy is fascinated by the iPad but will only look at it not play with it.

So Spider is the only artist of the three.

My cats are 14 and 13 respectively this year. I'm starting to know how you feel, MC. At this age you start worrying about their health on an almost daily basis.

 

[Miss Chicken]

Miss Chicken had a bad fall last year. As a result she hit her head injuring her inner ear and dislodging the lens in one of her eyes and now is almost blind in that eye. If she was a younger cat the vet said it would have been best to remove the eye but he doesn't want to put Miss Chicken through such a surgery unless the eye becomes a significant problem.

The fall did cure her of the desire to climb.

Awesome picture of your nephew & brother in law. I too am not into instagram, I think we strive to have better technology, especially in the photo & video arena. Why would I want to make my pictures look old and crappy, I don't really get it. However sometimes they do look like art, like that picture but to me that is rare. When people only take pictures that way, it looses its appeal REAL quick.

Awesome picture of your nephew & brother in law. I too am not into instagram, I think we strive to have better technology, especially in the photo & video arena. Why would I want to make my pictures look old and crappy, I don't really get it. However sometimes they do look like art, like that picture but to me that is rare. When people only take pictures that way, it looses its appeal REAL quick.

That's exactly how I feel. My sister has a pretty good eye, though. Here's another of my nephew that turned out pretty cool:

A few of the plants I got recently for the patio. They're still alive! I have a few more, as well as a small herb garden. I go out on the patio multiple times a day to fuss over and admire all of them because I'm a huge dork.
