Yup, and this is only a recent development in the history of the medium. A lot of assumptions are made when this is still working itself out. There are a wide variety of options, and the market will continue to shift until they are able to balance out based upon market demands.
It will adjust, I think. Everyone liked streaming as this too good to be true thing. And it is too good to be true. The market can't support a dozen streaming services. I'm not sure it can support three.
People don't want to go back to networks because they like the convenience of instant access and the pleasure of no commercials. But that's not a sustainable model.
