Huh... Spock & McCoy were able to spit-ball a functional torpedo guidance system in under 5 minutes in TUC back in the 23rd century. Has the tech been lost to time?
There's probably a good amount of jamming and countermeasures going on during any space battle, never mind the possibility the nebula itself was fouling the torpedos' guidance systems.
Oh those look great! The Titan's bridge is dark, but very nice in its detailing.More to come, but Dave Blass has given us a peek at the Titan's new side consoles, which are arguably the most ergonomic for the XO chair since the Sovereign's static panels. Chakotay's neck would be proud.

By the way, was anyone else seeing the similarity of some aspects of the Shrike's design ( the nacelles for example) to the bigger Dominion battlecruisers seen during the Dominion War in DS9?
I didn't register these things before in the first two episodes, but now i can't unsee them.
Yeah, but i also think it could have been an obvious clue in retrospect. They’re both designed by the same guy.
Y'know what else they look like? Breen ships. Big, curvy and pointy with special weapons nobody else had during the D.W. Also designed by the same guy.
That outboard "deflector pod" is VERY like the Breen ships we saw in DS9.Y'know what else they look like? Breen ships. Big, curvy and pointy with special weapons nobody else had during the D.W. Also designed by the same guy.
And it looks like a Son’a ship. Also designed by the same guy.
Conclusion: You can’t assume whose ship it is based on its design, because the guy who designed it has a style that never changes.
