Two flowery type paintings.

Interesting. My first impression was actually of stained glass rather than a rainbow. Is there any significance to the colors, or to the letters alternating colors?

Nice, I like that, especially the double meaning of the gold.Interesting. My first impression was actually of stained glass rather than a rainbow. Is there any significance to the colors, or to the letters alternating colors?
Hah, word up.
Gold and silver... think sun and rain clouds. Or gold at the end of the rainbow. The bg colors are just the colors of the rainbow.
WANT! It's not in your Etsy shop - did you sell it already? This is my favorite of you work yet, blab. It's stunning in it's simplicity, and exactly the kind of thing I'd hang on my wall.A few days ago I took a cool picture of a cardinal on the top of a tree and I wanted to recreate that in paint:

The fact that they, the strap, and the shirt wrinkle form a :-/ face bugs me. The scanner also makes it about 1.5x the size of the original sketch. The binocs look a bit off somehow, but other than that you're getting pretty good at perspective.
