They look very nice, though it's a little hard to see on the laptop I'm using. Are those spring buds in the first one?
I have a couple paintings done, but some commissions can't be revealed yet, but this one can...
Baybayin writing - The Tagalog word for "Rainbow" is "Bahaghari", which literally translates to "King's loincloth." Go figure.

Interesting. My first impression was actually of stained glass rather than a rainbow. Is there any significance to the colors, or to the letters alternating colors?

Gold and silver... think sun and rain clouds. Or gold at the end of the rainbow. The bg colors are just the colors of the rainbow.

Sadly, yes. To my parents. Though I am thinking about making another one once I finish all these wedding dresses.
I haven't drawn anything in a while, so this is a bit rusty. Not that I really know what I'm doing anyway...
The fact that they, the strap, and the shirt wrinkle form a :-/ face bugs me. The scanner also makes it about 1.5x the size of the original sketch.
I'm not quite done with this - I cut off the entire bottom half of the sketch.

I've been working on my flowers some more. Though these are just on paper as I was trying something different.

I can't make out what the Lily is carrying. The flowers are great; very detailed, especially in the color gradations. I really love the waterfall, though; very serene.

The Lily is painting over her freckles. They're illustrations from a "Fairy Tale" I wrote a while back. I still need to finish so many, but I keep getting wedding dress painting orders. Sigh
This thread has inspired me to start painting again. I haven't done any serious painting in.... about 20 years.
