Well I tried a larger picture of a black lab. I am not crazy about the head size (I'll have to work on that a lot more) but I had to finish it as those eyes kept begging me to.

Great use of texture in the sky and the land. When I said "bad," I meant my pun, not your paintings.Oh I've been a painting since then. I just figured no one else cared.

Those are fantastic; the first one is somewhat reminiscent of "Wheatfield With Crows." I hope you're going to put all this up on DA.Well here just for the grape:

This is my favorite of you work yet, blab. It's stunning in it's simplicity, and exactly the kind of thing I'd hang on my wall.A few days ago I took a cool picture of a cardinal on the top of a tree and I wanted to recreate that in paint:

Wow. I love the fractal intricacy of the branches, and the bright red of the bird against the pale blue-white of the sky.A few days ago I took a cool picture of a cardinal on the top of a tree and I wanted to recreate that in paint

Very nice, and interesting. It's funny that the word for expensive is the same as the word for love. Human psychology is universal-- my grandmother used to refer to anything expensive as "dear."Unfinished samples of a first run of my Mahal-Heart posters...

You're selling the originals?Well if anyone wants to buy some of my paintings I finally bit the bullet and opened my own shop.
I hope you're scanning them and will put them up on DA.
But good luck.
Yeah, I had trouble with the hands in particular. Eventually I said "screw it!" and gave up.![]()
