Wow, I wish I could see a higher-res version of that. The detail on the dress is amazing enough, but the trim on the jacket is very intricate as well. Very nice.

Not by me; I'm too happy to see new paintings.I hope I won't have fire rained down upon me for bumping this thread but I finished a few other paintings I wanted to share:
Wow, that's great. The silhouettes are perfect, and I love the sky and the intricate branches.
Cool.
The third dress I ever painted got eaten by the owners doggies
He looks completely unrepentant....so I repainted it and I found the whole thing so funny I had to paint the scene of destruction as well.

Now that's just amazing. Coincidentally, I was just reading about Betelgeuse...This painting is going over the fire place in our first house (it's the first ever big honkin painting I ever made)

You do like birds and trees, don't you?I made another painting but it's completely different from all the others. It has trees, lots of color, and birds.
^^ I'm completely unfamiliar with Final Fantasy, but those are impressive package designs.

That's nothing like the bright blue with lots of trees paintings. No birds, see:

It's possible that you may find my name among the Posters there.I got to have my weird wedding paintings attacked by anonymous commenters. Can I hire you RJ to come to my defense? And maybe TSQ, she seemed to like them as well I seem to remember.
Psychedelic. Groovy. I like it.I can't paint at all, but I do like doodling when I'm bored.
You're quite welcome. Thanks to melancholymecha and RJDiogenes.![]()
It's the opposite for me. People, faces and bodies, were the first thing I ever learned to draw and have always come naturally to me. I find scenery much, much more difficult to draw than individuals.^I myself find nature easier to draw/paint compared to inorganic or mechanical objects.
Human anatomy remains out of my reach though...

Nice work, especially House; I did think that David Tennant looks a little bit like Anthony Perkins, though. My drawings are in an album in my profile. Most of the stuff in there I have posted previously, but not all.
ha, I was drawing animals since I was a toddler but I didnt try humans until much later & found it very difficult. Ive gotten better, but never been as good at drawing people as with animals. I also do better with nature oriented backgrounds than cityscapes and buildings/architecture...It's the opposite for me.
