I gotta say, I went and watched the first 20 minutes or so of My Dinner with Andre after seeing this, and yeah, they really nailed spoofing it.

I'm not as on target as you are.

Serendipity just put "Andy Kaufman's Breakfast with Blassie" in my lap, a spoof of Dinner with Andre.

So they showed several weeks of reruns, and then one random new episode that I missed, and then two weeks of reruns?

NBC wonders why they are in last place?

That's what I mean. I don't think there is any respect for this show and it's quality. No one really knows about it because of low promotion. The cast can only do so many interviews and little video things. It takes the marketing prowess of a major network to promote a show. "Community" deserves more respect from them in my humble opinion.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't have known from looking at him in the episode that he had only recently had life threatening surgery. Lets hope he gets back up to 100% soon.
