OMG... I am so disappointed, lack of culture...

.... she just told me she has never seen "The Road Warrior"... how can that be possible, "The freaking Road Warrior" it's an epic, and she has never seen it!!!

I haven't seen it either, but what I've read about it doesn't suggest to me that it's "an epic" or a barometer of "culture."

Come to think of it, I don't even know what The Road Warrior is.
I'm assuming Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, starring Mel Gibson & directed by George Miller.

If I come across the Road Warrior on TV, I always stop for a while. Great movie! Dystopian Aussies are freaky!

Ahhh... Mad Max..... back when he was still "MaD"!!! You make me want to see the movie again, right now!!

Miss Chicken feels so old because she can say

"I went and saw Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior when it first opened in the cinemas back in 1981."

She gets a pass on this one due to being a she.

And I can say, "Now I don't feel bad about never seeing it because I wasn't born yet." :p

That is no excuse. I have seen plenty of movies that were made before I was born (in fact I own a few such movies).

So have I, but I feel less guilty about it now.

Meh. Never did care much for that post-apocalyptic stuff. Must be why my favorite is the first Mad Max film, because it takes place in (mostly) the present day. Overrun with motorcycle gangs, of course, but still before the 'war'. So I can relate to it a bit better.

I also like the first Mad Max film the best.
