So almost 18, while he is a student, to begin with, and she's 10 years older.

Age gap doesn't seem that bad

17 is illegal.

He did have a birthday in the second clip.

Theoretically Billy is supposed to be too juvenile to emotionally handle a relationship with an adult, but after he dumps her, she's the one tossing grenades into the Tate's dining room, to make him come back.

Well over here a 17 yr old and a 28 yr old would be legal as long as the older one wasn't in a position of authority

Taxi and Barney Miller were among the best sitcoms ever produced. And I loved Married... with Children until its last couple of seasons, when it seemed to run out of steam.

Shows I watched regularly in the 1960s (yes, I'm that old):

The Wild Wild West
The Invaders
The Outer Limits
(original series)
Star Trek (natch!)
The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In
(Goldie Hawn was my first celebrity crush. Shoot, her daughter is 45 now!)

I was pretty much raised on old shows from the 60's and 70's. I loved shows like Get Smart and Green Acres, but one show from across the pond made me laugh like no other.... Are You Being Served?

I'll always be indebted to my grandparents for hooking me on this show at a far too young of age.

Another show that I remember watching daily throughout my youth, was the 80's version of The Littlest Hobo. I think an entire generation of Canadian kids grew up watching that dog.

In our home in the 70s 80s we watched Are You Being Served as a family, it was on TV with The Benny Hill show

That Girl

I like that one, but have never watched much of it.
What I never understood is how Marlo Thomas would do the sitcom Friends in the 90s often, but the seminal Sex and the City Name dropped her constantly as one of Samantha's a-list clients, but no one ran that up the flagpole.

Barney Miller (my favorite cop comedy. ;) )
Star Trek
Gilligan’s Island
Hogan’s Heroes
I Dream of Jeannie
The Greatest American Hero
Dukes of Hazzard
SCTV
Columbo
Red Dwarf
Newhart

That is all I can think of for now…
