Which old shows or series do you remember watching, and any you liked, were fond of?


Simon and Simon - used to watch this every week almost without fail. They even did a cross over with one other show I used to watch.

Whiz Kids - this one was riding on the coattails of movies like war games which made computers popular in the 80s. It wasn't a bad show and it even had a cross over with Simon and Simon. Final episode was a bummer I don't remember much if it, only that the heroes of the show had their computers taken away.

I think MASH had the biggest effect on me. It shaped my sense of humor, my views towards authority figures and helped spur my interest in history.

It helped that I had a Mom who often watched it with me and explained the references and historical facts behind the storylines.

I could never really get into MASH I tried many, many times and while I did find it funny I just couldn't get stick around and watch more of it.

But my method usually is to buy a show. Sometimes I regret that.

I bought the box set of The Champions and regret set in. It felt really corny and dated

The gay stuff, or more accurately the producers buckling to pressure form the network, ability to pretend that Jodie is less gay or not gay, is becoming even more offensive, although they could have just said that Billy Crystal was pan sexual, and it might have been fin? I was more horrified with how the family was fine with the youngest Tate child was heterosexually boffing his 30 year old teacher.
