That's for sure...as Yoda has stated in all his wisdom, clouded the Future is. That seems to sum up Smallville's future all right.
Good description, but as long as their ratings stay stable I think Smallville's future is secure at least in CW's eyes.
It may get decent (for CW) numbers for its premiere on September 2 since there's no competition, but Gossip Girl's ratings fell soon enough. With all its hype prior to last season, it only premiered to 3.65 million viewers on a night with no first run network competition. It got steadily worse from there. Between sports preemptions (wasn't the merger supposed to stop that?) and not having 100 percent nationwide coverage (wasn't CW supposed to be in all markets?) the live ratings for GG fell into the crap heap. Only its 18-34 female demo kept it alive. Not that I care, but I'm royally ticked off that Supernatural won't get its fifth and last season. They've had a five year arc planned from the beginning. I'd better enjoy it while it lasts. Somehow I don't see the new 90210 becoming the toast of the town.
