I like that idea, he could make for a good "final regeneration" of the Doctor before they give him more of course! He could make a good "brooding doctor" who has to come to grips with his mortality...


I like David Hewlitt and he is still somewhat british/canadian, etc...

Richard Ayoade would be a good choice I suppose for a different direction from his roles in the IT crowd and The Mighty Boosh he could be either really nerdy or really cool...

What about this David Tennant character ive been hearing so much about recently, he was good in Hamlet, ok his US career has flopped but I still think he would make a good Doctor.

I don't think I could stand his grinning.

My choice would be a 26 year old who has never seen the sun and has no eyebrows.

Ah yes, I'm the same, I just refuse to read the novels, and the closest I've seen any of the films was a trailer for the one that came out a few weeks ago.

the Doctor wont have much choice but to regenerate older soon, any younger and Sarah Jane will mistake him for one of Lukes school friends. Plus he might not be able to reach the console.

Yes I can, he's certainly not going to regenerate younger. Remember Davison was only a couple of years older than Smith when cast, and every Doctor since until Smith was older. Whether we'll get another 50 yr old Doctor is debateably but I imagine Doc 12 will be 30s/40s again.
