I'm disappointed, I wanted the Jets to win, but that was a beautiful kick by Janikowski. It was about as perfect as they get. And, that was fun end-of-the-game too.

Yeah, Janikowski definitely earned his pay today--that was a great kick.

And with that, I've been wiped out of my confidence pool for the week, having placed 15 points on the Jets winning. :(

I got to see my very first professional football game, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati Ohio, today. The Bengals vs. The Steelers, with the Steelers whipping the hot tar out of the Bengals, 38 to 10. You'd think I would be for Cincinnati, but I don't like our football team. It's pathetic and has been for 13 years at least. They're currently 0 and 7 as of today. I'm a Steelers fan and was excited to see that at my very first football game, my second favorite team in the NFL won (my first being SF49ers), and won soundly! :D

The only problem for me was that I'm afraid of heights and we ended up sitting in the nosebleeds.

Here's a pic of the event:

Sorry about the pic, but I was using my cell phone camera.

last week while it looked like the colts finally had it together i also thought they were benefiting from facing a pretty banged up ravens team.
the ravens secondary was a mess due to injuries.
well this week the packers were playing almost perfect coverage and once again the colts looked out of sorts.

the upcoming monday night game is going to be interesting.

Nice. I'm surprised you could see anything considering you were so far up in the clouds. :D

We're actually in the third (at the top) tier up. The picture doesn't give the best height comparison.
We were so high up that I could see the Interstate, Ohio river and Newport from my seat.

Damn! Yet another hurt Cowboy. Things keep going like this they wont be able to field a full team.

The Rams have surged into second place in the competitive NFC West. Digits must be exceedingly proud now.

What's the deal with the premature ejaculation of referees blowing the whistle? Something needs to be changed about that rule to douse some water over the refs with itchy trigger fingers.

So what if a player recovers a fumble and has an open field to run it back for a touchdown? The whistle blew, so after the call gets reversed, you can have the ball at your own ten yard line which is just as good as a touchdown.

Kind of reminds me of the seats we had last year when we went down to see the Packers play at K.C. They shot off fireworks before the game- we had to look down to see them! But even in the nosebleed seats, it's always great to see a game live.

Glad to the Packer's defense finally have a good game. They lost a lot of players to injuries, so maybe they're finally starting to gel as a unit. And for once they didn't kill themselves with penalties- Indy did that instead.

If anyone would have told me before the game that Chicago and Minnesota would score a combined 89 points, I would've asked them what they were smoking. So much for the defensive battle they were predicting.

Well, fancy that. Denver fumbled their first drive away. Is anyone surprised? Really? Anyone? :brickwall:

[EDIT] FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!! 2 drives, 2 fumbles! Denver lost two games due to turnovers, and I guarentee they are about to lose a third at this rate.

So Nolan is out and Singletary is in in San Francisco??

I didn't think Nolan had sunk that far.

Wow, now that's a bit of a ways up there! Yeah, it was great just being there for my first live professional football game ever. Now I see why it's so much fun. Too bad I was practically in terror the whole time I was up there!

Worst seats I've ever had, 500 level. Not the highest in the stadium, there were 5 or so rows above us, but man it took forever to get up there.
