And the Mike Singletary era begins. Given what happened with the Rams and their new coach, I'm a bit excited.

The Ravens just put Haloti Ngata in on the Offensive line. Ran it up behind him twice for a TD.

I'm loving the creative personnel decisions here.

That Troy Smith play was interesting as well.

Can't say the Eagles game is as interesting, but good defense so far.

EDIT: McNabb with a quarterback draw? That brings me back to 2003. :D

The Chargers/Saints game from Wembley stadium here in the UK is on TV right now - it's certainly a novelty watching a game at this time of day instead of 2am in the morning....

BTW - they have Jerry Rice in the studio and just showed a clip of him from That Show What People Do Dancing And Stuff On where he was sporting an outrageous 'fro for some reason while doing some very cheesy dancing... Yikes!

:D

^ You ought to look into streaming tv then, i'm watching the Ravens vs Raiders game live on CBS now.

Stupid Patriots!

:scream:

The Rams defense was decent today. No offense without Jackson, and too many penalties.

Still, the Rams have gotten better under Haslett. I guess that's something....

Yeah, because he's such a threat as WR. :D

Eagles caught a massive break there. I hate blown official calls either way, but I'm breathing a bit easier now.

Yeah Lions! One step closer to 0-16!

They were actually leading today at the half, which is pretty crazy. Marinelli is turning that ship around. They should fire him. What's he doing trying to win games?

Fire Rod Marinelli and bring in Cam Cameron. I want 0-16. I want a losing season worth remembering. Lord knows we've seen enough forgettable losing seasons in Detroit...

Today is a good day. Denver isn't playing, which means that they can't fumble, throw an interception, get 11yards/ penalty, or just straight lose. Also nice to see San Diego lose too.

Today's 49ers game with Mike Singletary's head coaching debut is going swimmingly well.

The Cowboys win wasn't too pretty either, but it's a check in the win column.

Good win for the G-men, even though the offense wasn't firing on all cylinders. Excellent showing by the D (five sacks & 4 picks) and special teams, whereas Pittsburgh's banged-up kicking game probably cost them a shot at winning it. Also enjoyed watching the Wembley game between the Saints & Chargers - less rain than last year made for a superior offensive spectacle and a game that went down to the wire :)

GM

^Ah, cool. I'll see what I can find. There's a lot of "Streaming TV" websites around that are full of shite, so it could be a long search...
