Agree, but lets keep in mind that it is still early.

Wasn't it 2 seasons ago that K.C. and Buffalo started out scoring like 40 points a game for 3 or 4 weeks, then tanked the rest of their seasons?

16 games doesn't seem like a lot, but you're right, it's a long season.

Yeah but it's how they have been winning that lends me to think these wins are no fluke.
For the record, no one is calling the Broncos' wins flukes. It's just that history has shown that a team looking terrific in September does not gaurantee that team will look the same way in December or January.

The 49ers look terrible, and
Even as a Raiders' fan I found it easy to root for the 9ers back when they had Walsh and Montana. But these 49ers... not so easy to root for. For me, it has to do with Jim Harbaugh.

He is a great coach but also is such a monumental a-hole -- always flapping his gums about this player or that coach. I find myself now being a bit pleased everytime some team knocks that smug look off Harbaugh's face.

Well, I've always hated the 49ers, but I agree with you about Harbaugh.

What's his deal?

Oh, thats right, Rams fan. :)

I don't get him at all. He was that way when he started at Stanford. Him and Pete Carroll HATE each other so you know there were some particularly tight jaws on the 49ers sideline after their game against Seattle. Good.

I wonder where Timby is.

Broncos over the Raiders tonight 37-21 .... and it really wasn't as close as that. Manning looked beautiful and Welker had a nice game. That offense seems to really be humming along nicely. Pryor has surprised me in how he's looked so far. Not exactly All-Pro, but he's makign a game of it with some nice runs and a a few decent throws

That one catch-n-run of Decker's was a thing of beauty, too. If they keep their RB's healthy, that's a scary offense.

Detroit Lions receiver Nate Burleson breaks his arm in an auto accident due to "falling pizza" and Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones is injured by a bottle wielding stripper on a party bus.

The shining example of pro athletes.

And oddly enough, I had both of those clowns on my bar fantasy team. No wonder I'm 0-3 and in 12th place in that league.

Rams vs. Niners tonight.

I'm having two of my wisdom teeth pulled this morning, so it should be a perfect night for sitting in front of the TV.

Hopefully I won't have to curse and yell too much.

:scream:

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!

:scream:

I don't know what was more painful: my wisdom teeth extraction, or watching the Rams offense flail about helplessly.

Man, that's terrible. Gee, who would have guessed letting Steven Jackson go would impact the running game??

Absolutely pitiful.

:brickwall:

The Seahawks beat the Texans in Houston 23-20 in OT after being down 20-3 at halftime. I know they are a team of destiny and all, but do they have to make it so stressful?
