NFL 2022: The Fall of the "Immunized" Aaron Rodgers

The Browns should've gone for broke and traded for Tyreek Hill. Then sign Adam "Pacman" Jones. Maybe Rae Carruth can be the WR coach and Art Schlichter can be a financial manager.

Dolphins trade for Tyreek Hill. This offseason is nuts.

Now Miami has Hill, Waddle, Mostert, and Edmonds. Ridiculous speed all round. All they need is for Tua to prove he's got it.

Public Enemy No. 1a (Mahomes is No. 1), leaves the AFC West, and the rest of the division says amen.

i don’t care what the Chiefs do with those packs because it is highly unlikely any of them will turn into a player who is as scary as Tyreek. ON PAPER, KC looks considerably less foreboding after this move.

Looks like Watson ain't out of the woods yet in terms of criminal charges.

CBS Sports said:
Watson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, has confirmed that his camp is aware of the latest development in the case. Watson is facing 22 different civil lawsuits that all allege sexual misconduct, and according to Hardin, the second grand jury will be hearing evidence based on one of those 22 cases.

"It's not a new complaint," Hardin told Fox 8.

According to Hardin, the prosecution in Brazoria County wanted to let the grand jury deliberations in Harris County finish before they moved forward with their own grand jury. The second grand jury is expected to render a decision either Thursday or Friday, according to Tony Buzbee, who represents the complainant.

The Harris County grand jury returned nine no bills on the nine criminal complaints that had been made against the Browns quarterback, which meant no criminal charges for Watson. After the initial grand jury meeting, Hardin felt that his client had been vindicated.

"There's never been any crime here, no matter if you call it indecent assault or anything else," Hardin said on March 11, via the New York Times. "These are civil matters that belong in the civil courts."

OT changes are popular to discuss, but there's a good chance nothing will come of it.

Colts and Eagles want both teams to touch the ball once before going into sudden death. Titans say if the first team to get the ball scores a TD and a two-point conversion, then the game is over. Competition committee chairman Rich McKay says he's heard from teams who want the "both teams get the ball" idea for playoff games only.

Just play out a full period (shorter than a regular quarter, but still), NFL. Stop overcomplicating it.

I don't even think they should have overtime in the regular season. If it's a tie, then it's a tie. LOL

As to the use of overtime, each side should get the ball at least once.

Saints sign Andy Dalton to a one-year deal and list Taysom Hill as a TE. I wonder if this is how it's going to be for Dalton now, QB journeyman. Nine years with one team, then nine teams for the next nine years.

Andy Dalton?

Baker Mayfield would probably fit well...

Personally, I think Cleveland will live to regret this deal. But who knows, maybe Cleveland and Watson start winning super bowls. If that happens, then all the controversy will be forgotten because the NFL values star QBs more than the game itself.

I think Watson, and the NFL by extension, need to be very careful. I think the last thing they really want is for this to go to trial and having women on the stand crying while describing being raped. If it gets to the point, the NFL will likely have no other choice than to expel Watson from the league. Leaving Cleveland in a pretty shitty place, which is the norm for them.

I'm just glad he's now the Browns problem, and not the Texans. The Texans have enough problems on their own still to deal with.

Feels like Brady probably had something to do with this. With Arians out of the picture, he’s hoping he can steamroll Leftwich and Bowles to get his way.

I feel like Bowles oversees the defensive side of the ball while Brady and Leftwich run the offense. Which really means that Brady runs the offense.
