NFL 2021 season - Belichick Strikes Back

Starts to make one wonder if we're watching a version of the WWE.

God Bless, Todd Bowles, who blitzes his slot corner leaving a safety alone on Kupp. That to me should blow any chance he had at landing a head coaching job. Didn't make any sense after Gay had just missed short from 47 yards. Should've been zeroed in on Kupp.

Stephen A. said is the other day, a HC needs to be a "leader of men". This trend of hiring genius coordinators hasn't been working too well. The best HC's have usually been so-so coordinators.

Well, he did win the Triple Crown this year.

A lot of teams “should have” covered Kupp, but didn’t/couldn’t.

Yeah. But you still don’t let Stafford's Triple Crown winner run by himself up the hashmark. At least I wouldn’t.

Glad Josh Allen got his money. He’ll be suffering from Cam Newton syndrome after a few seasons as a battering ram.

I'm not a conspiracy minded bloke by nature. But I think the NFL has had something up their sleeves this year with Super Bowl LVI being in Los Angeles. What better way to engage LA than to have an LA team play in the Super Bowl? And everybody would know something is up if it was the Chargers!

Green Bay just utterly collapsing offensively in their own stadium after simply slicing the 49ers up in the opening drive. I buy you can make some adjustments, but I can't ever remember Aaron Rodgers being shut down so completely.

Close games certainly keep people watching advertising vs. blowouts. We've already had three decided by FG's at the end.

Bills needs a new stadium paid for by upstate New York. A deep playoff run certainly wouldn't hurt their cause.

OBJ? Cut by the Browns, nobody claims him on waivers, ends up in LA.
Von Miller? Broncos were still on the outskirts of playoff contention when Denver deals him to LA for milk money.

I don't think that they are openly dictating events in games, but I think they could subtly try to put things on certain courses.

The inside of my head is a scary place! :shifty:

Oh no. My intended joke was what I saw as your dig at the World Wrastlin' Federation. WWF until they got their asses sued off by the World Wildlife Fund.

My Paramount+ app keeps glitching out.

I’ve had to restart it like ten times so far.

:scream:

Wow! Now THAT is what I expect a playoff championship game to be like. Well-played by both teams. Congrats to KC.

Little tired of the Chiefs even as an Andy Reid fan, and Allen's Bills deserved the win. Hate the way that ended.

Oh well, come on Bengals!

Well, this just shows how little I know about football.

I had assumed that even in overtime, they had to play all of the time on the clock.
