Weird - for some reason, I thought that in OT both teams started with only 2 time-outs, but the board showed 3 each, like a normal quarter. Maybe they have double-secret probation OT rules for playoffs.

I'm an incompetent boss - i gave one of my guys off on February 14th so he can watch the Superbowl with his friends, which means i have to be in the office in the morning ( the Superbowl plays in the night from 13th to 14th February here and finishes around 4-5 am in the morning, we have to be in the office by 7.30 am so unless one wants to sleep at his desk it is not possible to watch it without taking the day off). Could have pulled rank but this is where my incompetence comes into play.

Playoffs were amazing so far, so many close games and awesome plays.

I’d say it makes you a decent boss and gains you a bit of loyalty too boot.

I don't mind.. if i watched it would have been just me at home due to Covid and me taking extra care not to have too many social contacts whereas he could go to a proper Superbowl party with a big screen and a guy who is a professional cook and would prepare american style BBQ. Did i mention i told him to screw himself when i learned of that party? Sounds so good, especially the BBQ

Small consolation would be if the 49ers make it this time - i have been a fan since i was a kid and the Joe Montana/Jerry Rice era.

Nah, that's a pretty good forethinking boss. I would have done the same because, honestly, he probably would have called in.

Bears appear to be close to hiring KC's executive director of player personnel Ryan Poles as their next general manager.

Another eager, young up & comer like Pace, right?

The Bears also have been interviewing head coach candidates while they conducted their GM search. The team has requested second interviews with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and former Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell, whose second interview is taking place Tuesday, Schefter is reporting.

Have you tried using an antenna for over-the-air broadcasts? Actually looks much better than watching live sports on Paramount+ streaming because of the compression difference.

The is the first time I’ve used Paramount+ to watch football. I have DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket.

Our streaming quality at home is fantastic. This was a problem with the app.

Unfortunately, it is a consistent problem with the app.

But only for football?

We’ve streamed tons of stuff on P+ and never had a problem like that before.

Like, I had to restart the app 20 times, no exaggeration.

Seems like it. They don’t have the capacity for that high of streaming volume at one time.

This is why eventually CBS All Access went to using Hulu's backend to provide live streaming content.

With the rebrand to Paramount+ last year, it seems like they decided to try rolling their own again.
