On the broadcasting side of things, the New York Post is reporting that Joe Buck is being let out of his contract with Fox Sports so he can head over to ESPN, where (among other things) he'll call Monday Night Football with Troy Aikman. Guess I know what games I won't be watching for the next 5-6 years...
I cut the cord years ago, I haven't watched much MNF in that time. So this is a decision that has no effect on me.
ESPN is reporting that the Panthers are aggressively seeking Watson. But he would have to waive his no-trade clause.
Awesome to see so many teams tripping over themselves for a shot at having a possible rapist play for them. And I still wouldn’t count Miami out...
Tampa Bay has their starting QB for next season. Someone named Tom Brady. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...returning-tampa-bay-buccaneers-qb-next-season
There is scuttlebutt about the Vikes being one of the teams in the Watson sweepstakes. Now, I don't think it's very likely because I still don't know if they're going to find someone gullible enough to take Cousins and his one year of bad contract. But should it happen, I will stop being a Vikings fan.
Really? I know a few folks personally...well who have met Pete Rose, with other Reds players around who made it in the HOF. They said Pete Rose were the only one who was down to Earth, chatting with them and was super nice, while the others were pretty much jerks.
Dafuq? Did they offer Brady partial ownership in TB or something? I don’t believe that “unfinished business” bullshit for a second.
When i met Bench, a few times back in the day, he considered Pete a S.O.B. he has altered his tune since. Yep, he's a classic bull shitter. Tell them what they want to hear, not the truth and Bench was refreshing cuz he shoots straight.
