NFL 2021 season - Belichick Strikes Back

Not sure they've had time. Teams didn't start regularly moving until less than 40 years ago. And I think Oakland's the only community to lose a team on two seperste occasions (1984 and recently).

Teams moved and folded a lot more often prior to 1960.

I stand corrected. :brickwall:

That doesn't apply to you, gblews. I don't offer any concession whatsoever to those who insult me.

Former Florida State WR Travis Rudolph, who had stints the Giants, Dolphins and CFL, has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm in Palm Beach County.

A few years ago, he went viral for sitting down to eat lunch with a boy with autism who was by himself in the school cafeteria.

Has any city ever gotten another team from a specific sport if they've lost them twice?

New York.

Why do you think the Rams, Raiders, AND Chargers moved heaven and earth to get back to LA? All 3 franchises were willing to move back to LA WITH NO TAXPAYER FUNDING. How was your team’s stadium financed?

I believe there is still a significant push to get tax credits out of Inglewood for SoFi Stadium moving forward.

Proof that people can be complicated.

Funny the Rams have been involved in three of the cities that lost their NFL teams twice. Cleveland, LA and St. Louis.

Them Rams has da wanderlust, yes they do.

I feel bad for the people of St. Louis left to foot the bill, but the Rams never should have gone there in the first place.
Agree, and neither should the Raiders have moved back to Oakland. Al was trippin.

Google, bro, google. ;)

Oh really?

Quote]So will LA in a few years, since those IDIOTS didn't learn the lesson[/quote]
:nyah: And I really don’t need a concession. You’ve pretty much been a font of misinformation for the last few pages.

I really doubt the push is “significant.” I’v heard nothing about it. But I don’t blame the Rams for trying. I can’t see where their leverage might be. They can’t leave. I think the only way Kroeber wins something like this is through the courts, because I can’t see the city giving in. But perhaps there’s room for compromise. Regardless, SoFi is still a privately funded stadium.

Unless you are one of the LA bigwigs responsible for the decision to bring in two football teams instead of stopping at one, my statement was not directed at you.

You still don’t know what you’re talking about especially when it comes to the NFL in LA. I suggest that before you come up with another of your “observations” you check in with Google first.

If you check my last, I clearly stated that "I stand corrected", regarding certain errors I made. My refusal to concede to you was because you were insulting, not because you were right or wrong. And honestly, neither of us is at this point. Time will vindicate one of us.

A gunman who killed five people in South Carolina, including two children, who then killed himself the next day, has been identified as former NFL player Phillip Adams. :(

Why did the folks in the class-action lawsuit agree to a 2014 cut off date for testing and treatment of concussions in retired players? This is still a high speed, high collision sport.

Julian Edelman retires after 12 seasons.

Britt Reid charged with felony DWI.

Kevin James to play Sean Payton in a movie about when he was an assistant coach for his son's sixth grade team during his suspension.

Eddie George to become Tennessee State head coach without any coaching experience.

Probably trying to raise their profile a little bit and get donors to up the cash they are kicking in. George really sounds like he will be a figurehead, not having much to do with the sport since retiring.

TE Jordan Reed retiring due to all those injuries and concussions.

Trey Lance is going to be boom or bust. Only a little over 400 pass attempts between high school and college, plus played against a lower tier of competition. I hope he does well, he sounds like a great kid, but QB's with that little experience usually struggle in the NFL. I hope he has the head on his shoulders to handle the pressure and money that come with being a high draft pick QB.

NFL expands who can wear what number:

Running backs, tight ends, fullbacks, H-backs and wide receivers can wear 1-49 and 80-89
Defensive backs can wear 1-49
Linebackers can wear 1-59 and 90-99
Offensive linemen can wear 50-79
Defensive linemen can wear 50-79 and 90-99
QBs, kickers and punters will remain in 1-19
