NFL 2017 Season

Yes, and I loved it! After the game and just as ESPN was preparing for their post game show, some fan starts yelling into a hot mike "welcome back Grudy!", and "go Raiders!". Raiders fans...

They don't call it the raider nation for nothing.

I almost didn't watch the early game because I expected it to be boring, and there were several times I almost turned it off. So glad I didn't. Ended up being one of the better games I've seen in a while. Mariota is going to be pretty special in a few years.

Fun fact: I was at the game Brad Johnson threw his.

**And as I'm typing this Jones just scored. Sorry Digits.

I feel like the Rams just got outcoached tonight. The Falcons looked prepared on defense and Ryan was efficient.

The Rams should still be proud of their season; no-one had them even getting this far. Their future is bright with McVay at the helm.

The NFC bracket is a crucible. I could see any of the remaining teams reaching the Super Bowl (well, except the Eagles).

I think people are too quick to dismiss the Eagles. Even with Foles, they're still one of the top teams in the league. They're going to be rested, and as good as the Falcons looked, winning two road games in a row in the playoffs as six isn't easy.

BAH!

:scream:

What a disappointing effort. To come out in front of a big home crowd and prime time TV audience and do that... well, I think we just got outplayed and outcoached. Still, overall, a much better season that I had dreamed of in August.

My friend and I went to the Rams VIP Tailgate before the game. I was wearing my Orlando Pace jersey...

We also met Torry Holt. If you want to see what a career as a wide receiver does to you, take a look at his left hand.

I'm glad I went. We had a great time despite the score. And Snoop Dog was in the hizzle, so that was good.

The team better get their shit together next year.

Yes, we do! I don't think Payton was wrong to go for it on 4th and 2, but I was certain we had handed them the game after that interception. I couldn't take a proper breath until after Newton's last sack. Yikes!

I have the Patriots/Steelers and Falcons/Saints moving onto the conference championships. Try as I might, I can't trust the Minnesota Vikings. Whether by a missed last-minute field goal or Case Keenum turning back into a pumpkin at the worst time, they'll find a way to screw this up.

He can't do any worse than the last Andy Reid OC who wound up in the North.

Vikings gonna Viking.

I went 2-2 in the Wild Card round, so let's see if I can stay above .500:

Falcons over Eagles
Foles just hasn't looked like he can throw a pass in recent weeks. If he can pull it together, they have a chance. Otherwise, it will be just like everyone predicted the moment Carson Wentz went down.

Patriots over Titans
Doesn't really matter which Titans team shows up: the one who stumbled into the playoffs or the one that roared back against the Chiefs. The Patriots are going to cream them.

Steelers over Jaguars
With the amount of weapons the Steelers have on offense and the glass slipper vanishing off Blake Bortles last week, I doubt this one is close.

Saints over Vikings
I know the Vikings have just won, won, won, but the Saints seem to have the momentum coming into this one.

Yeah, that all sounds right. Especially the Pats and Titans. That's going to be a blowout.

I’m enjoying the theme of the Falcons owner coming down to the field because he thinks his team is going to win and he wants to celebrate. Not working out for him :)

Pathetic series at the end, but Julio has to catch that.
