Good to see the Bengals getting back to running things the way they did in the 90's.
I looked his stats up. One start. Is that a record for first round QBs? Paxton Lynch has four starts. Dan McGwire had five. Andre Ware had six. Johnny Manziel had eight.

Yikes. That's even worse than I thought. I think Ryan Leaf and Demarcus Russell got more than a start and they were busts too.
Football has always struck me as entirely too much fuss over a lousy 25 cents.

Interesting to see if this goes anywhere. Once you pull that first thread you never know how things will unravel.
I'm still kind of curious about the recent (2023) inclusion of "zero" jerseys in the NFL now. Not entirely sure why they were never used in the first place and even more confused about "why now?" I guess maybe initially used for mascots and "honorary" non-playing members of the team, but now it's a part of the regular lineup and it's gotten quite popular to be zero. Maybe some players want to set more reasonable expectations for themselves.

The zero number gave jersey sales a big bump, I would imagine. The NFL does nothing unless it leads to them making more money.
