New To Voyager

I was checking my tracking info and my S5 copy is here. If it wasn't for the stupid holiday, I would be watching it right now

So I decided to flick through the channels and found out that an episode of Murder, She Wrote, featuring Kate Mulgrew is on later today. That should hold me over until tomorrow.

The season opener, Night wasn't spectacular but it really gave some insight into Janeway's psyche. How she feels guilty for what happened in The Caretaker. As guilty as she feels, I imagine she would feel worse about destroying an entire race to get back home. Especially when that race was Ocampa and she happened to have an Ocampa on board. I thought it was really moving how everyone refused to let her stay behind. It shows how much they care and respect her.

Drone was interesting. One is essentially the child of Seven and the Doctor. I felt really sad for Seven at the end.

Night is an episode I have a lot of nostalgia for, I remember watching it really late at night soon after it first aired (it may have been a rerun or something) with my best friend at the time and having a good time with it. When Seven effortlessly defeated the evil robot in Captain Proton program, that may have been the first time I actually liked her character.

Latent Image was a really heavy episode. I used to think Star Trek was just a show about being in space and meeting aliens but since I started watching Voyager, I've come to realize that it deals with morality and ethics. It's like an educational show disguised as entertainment.

Bride Of Chaotica! was fun:) Love Tom! He's so witty. When he's briefing Janeway on the Captain Proton program:lol: Tom: Remember, you're the queen! See you at the Castle Of Doom.

When I was 3, I thought the marching hammers were funny.

When I was 7, I thought they thought my teacher sucked too.

When I was 12, I finally got it.

Yep! Three to be exact: one in 1987, 1992, and 1994. I think a few clips are available on Youtube.

Cartoon animation seen during the Music Video to Picky Floyd's The Wall.
