There are two big trek mods for Stellaris. New Horizons and New Civilizations.

I personally prefer New Civilizations, it’s less bloated, less railroaded by events, and has more custom models instead of just rips and kitbashes of models from other games/mods. Also loads a lot faster.

Thanks. I think I tried New Horizons. I have not tried New Civ yet.

My two biggest dream Trek games would be an action RPG along the lines of Mass Effect, a good like that seems like it would be a good fit with a nice combination of action and story. My other one is a LEGO game, which actually is possible now that LEGO has the Trek license.
I've been curious about Resurgence, that seems like the kind of game that would fit Trek really well, and I think most of the reviews were at least OK.

I played Resurgence. It was pretty good. The story pulls from Trek canon and it felt like a series of TNG episodes. It felt like it belonged in classic Trek. There are enough problems and twists to keep you engaged. The mini puzzles are not too bad although I remember a couple of them were a bit frustrating. You can make different choices which affect the story. The biggest downside might be that replayability is very low. Once you play the game through a couple times, there is not much left to do since you know the twists and how the story can play out.
