What are you all on about?
You really are a small minded child aren't you, maybe you should grow up and return in a decade or two.

As for the casting, that is brilliant.
We were out and on a media black out as it were and it's wonderful news.
Are you an 80 year old nun?We can but hope, but this choice of actor won't help. It's foreseeable that they'll want to see who this new man playing their hero is, and it follows that some will then be exposed to some foul language.More wilfull missing of the point. I'm on about the children. I wouldn't want 6 year olds hearing violent swearing when they try and find out more about the new Doctor Who, and that's undoubtedly what they'll come across. Why is this simple and reasonable point (unless people think it's fine for children to hear "fuck" and "cunt") so difficult for people to grasp?
I very much doubt many 6 year olds will have watched The Thick of It. Or be allowed to play on Youtube unsupervised to do their own research. Cos, y'know, they're six.

Dude, I was just kidding.
I'd be more accepting of that angle if this wasn't the attitude. Cast the best person possible and that person just happens to be a woman or black? Alright, sure. It's possible.
Sir, I like the cut of your giblets. And the female tweenage demographic is cast into the vortex.
It's the same demographic that foisted Twilight and Hunger Games on us. Let 'em twist.
Really? After W? You should drop into TNZ sometime and discuss it.You realize you sound just like the people in this country who said "The US isn't ready for a black president," in 2008. It sounds ridiculous. An older doctor, maybe could work, it has before. A female doctor, right now at least it's too far a contrast to what we've ever had before. We're just not ready, and I'm on of the whovians who firmly hated the idea of a woman doctor.
Yeah how that turned out. Worst dam President ever.

let me disregard the topic just long enough to spurt a horrible opinion, then declare TOPIC NOW so I don't get challenged on it
"here's an awful opinion, now back on topic guys so I don't get challenged on it".
I'd take Jimmy Carter over Clinton and Obama. He may have been dreadful overall, but some credit's due for the Camp David Accords (even if he hasn't half blotted his Israel copybook since) and for getting attacked by a giant rabbit. It takes a serpent like Obama to make you realise Carter's nowhere near the nadir.Really? After W? You should drop into TNZ sometime and discuss it.Yeah how that turned out. Worst dam President ever.
It's neither. Jimmy Carter is the worst since 1900. Overall is Millard Fillmore.
I'd take Clinton over Carter and Obama.
Though I'd take living in Britain over all these options.
