Seriously though, I want the Celtics to win this series. I have high hopes for a Celtics-Lakers Finals this year.
And the Pistons again are looking like they're going to fold in the post-season.
As much as I too would have loved to have seen an upset, it really is better for the league if the Celtics win the east. The next best thing would be for them to meet the Lakers in the Finals, or the Suns (I know, window of opportunity firmly shut).God I hope the Hawks do it. That would be really cool if we had this kind of upset this season.
Well, the Celtics, Lakers, and Hornets all won. I'm rooting hard for the Hornets to beat the Spurs. It's disappointing that it took 7 games for Boston to dispatch the Hawks; you have to wonder how they'll do against the Lebron James Show if they had a hard time with the Joe Johnson show, you know?
The Cavs and Celtics did split the season series this year, 2 - 2.
Agree. The Hornets are shutting down the Spurs you need to shut down if you expect to beat them in the playoffs -- Parker and Ginobili. If they continue on this course, they'll move on.I was pretty much ready to ceded the West conference title to the Lakers, possibly San Antonio. Now, I know there is a heckuva long way to go, but.... the Hornets are looking soooo good against the Spurs in Game 2! We'll see how well things go on the road, but right now..... they have answers for everything the Spurs throw at them. And this is against an experienced, talented team with four championships. Nobody can afford to take any kind of a break against New Orleans this year!
