An unknown waltz by Johannes Brahms written in modern ink?
Held by Spock after he plays it, just one of the clues that he uses to deduce who Flint really is, modern ink but when did he compose it??

Correct ItsGreen! It's the Brahms Paraphrase! Well done!

    1) Although in modern ink, we don't know exactly when Flint composed this. What does Spock mean by 'modern'? 20th/21st/22nd/23rd century? Or just anything post-Brahms' era? All we know is that the ink is not of the period of Brahms himself.

    2) Spock is distracted by the piece because of Clue # 1 (which is made pointed by Kirk's disinterested dismissal). The discontinuity leads Spock to eventually conclude that Flint is Brahms, and thus immortal.

Great little game! Glad you got it so quick!

    The bridge is yours :)

"Don't be a fool! Push the button! It's your last chance!" Great scene, great object but incorrect!

    CLUE #2
It was in contact by someone highly unusual for this object.

    "It's Green" bottle of booze?

    1. Seen and used only once (drank and gone) on the ship.
    2. Tomar was someone highly unusual being an alien that took human form and not familiar with getting drunk.

Now why didn't I think of that object?? Maybe because I was drunk??

Fits the clues but your bottle was empty!

    CLUE #3
It's use should have alerted someone that something was not correct.

The object is not futuristic, it was made for one function.

The bottle of perfume that Charlie gives to Yeoman Rand, her favorite, and one that he couldn't possibly have bought in the ship's stores?

Interesting...but you'd better tell Captain Kirk or Dr. McCoy what you did. They will explain it to you, OK.

    CLUE #5
    THE OBJECT IS METALLIC

The pot of skin-colour face cream that the duplicate Kirk puts on his face?

Unusual Kirk would have such a thing in his quarters, and also he would have spotted that some of the cream had been used, thus alerting him to the possibility that the imposter used it to cover his scratch.

Very good guess, fits the clues, but was the makeup jar metal or a gold painted plastic jar?? amazing how different object can be the answer, but not correct

    CLUE #7
Unlike the flesh colored makeup jar, this object function is to physically remove something, not cover something up.

    @RubySlipppers YOU ARE CORRECT

Most of the clues are obvious when you know the object. So why would the "Captain" of the Enterprise have a nail file? and even if he did would he dare use in that fashion in front of his crew? How many time did he use it in front of McCoy? probably never before so it should have made McCoy a little suspicious of Lester-Kirk.
    You have the Object @RubySlipppers

I always LOL when I see Captain Kirk sitting there filing his nails being all emotional and back-talky to McCoy. William Shatner acting ~ A+!
    Good game and clues, ItsGreen.
