I agree. Not enough story to fill out an episode. Definitely needed a B-plot
"Sons of Mogh"
"Kurn, an outcast among Klingons because of Worf's dishonor, asks his brother to perform a ritual execution. Bashir provides an alternative - surgery which will wipe out Kurn's memories, turning him into a member of a non-disgraced house."
Powerful Worf episode. The resolution was odd.

"Bar Association"
"Quark's employees, led by his brother Rom and the Dabo girl Leeta, form a union and go on strike."
I'm enjoying the show a lot more now. I feel like it has final gotten to that "soap opera" feel that I've heard so much about.

"Accession"
"A Bajoran who disappeared 200 years previously comes out of the wormhole and challenges Sisko's claim to be the Emissary. Sisko suggests that they take it up with the Prophets, who appear to confirm his status as their liaison."
Sisko finally seems to have accepted his role as Emissary. It will be interesting to see how this changes his relationships with the Bajorans. Perhaps he will be takiing a more active role in their affairs.

"Worf goes on trial under suspicion of savagely destroying a Klingon ship full of innocent people. Though the Klingon attorney argues persuasively, Sisko realizes that Worf is being framed for a crime which may not even have occurred."
I felt like we've seen this episode done before. However it was fairly enjoyable, Worf is one of my favorite characters anyways.

"O'Brien has memories of a twenty-year prison term implanted into his brain by aliens. He has difficulty reintegrating into his life and work on the station, and is confused by the role a fellow prisoner plays in his memories."
Wow, what a powerful episode. It was truly tragic what happened in the prison cell. I found myself getting emotional during the final minutes. Great acting from Meaney, I didn't know he had it in him.

I liked that Sisko is finally taking being the Emissary seriously. I mean, whats the point of half accepting something? And its good he did step up, because that caste thing was only in place briefly and had already resulted in murder.
RoE went slowly for me at first... til it started getting to the end, which was funny and I thought pretty good. Yes, a very unlucky bunch of people! LOL!
I have to say, if I were in Worf's place, I'd have probably done the same thing, and I think O'Brien would have too, he should have said so.

This is part of what's nice about DS9. Sisko's acceptance of his role as Emissary has a lot of consequences over the next few seasons.

Wow the special effects have gotten really good. The battle scenes were awesome.

"A mysterious woman offers to provide Jake with inspiration for his stories. Meanwhile, Odo tries to protect a pregnant Lwaxana Troi from her husband, who comes to claim her child; he offers to marry her, but she gallantly declines once her baby is safe from possible repatriation."
Nothing stood out from this episode. Odo's speech about Lwaxana was heartfelt and it was nice to see Jake prominently in 2 episodes in a row.

I didn't think it was that bad, but thats not an unfair assessment.

"Sisko discovers evidence that Kasidy Yates is a Maquis agent. His pursuit of her ship allows security officer Eddington to take advantage of his absence, rob the station, and escape, and Sisko is forced to incarcerate his lover."
Sisko had quite the dilemma here. I feel that he made the right decision. I had finally decided that Eddington was going to be a team player and he had to go and pull a stunt like this. Oh well, I never really liked him anyways.

"Bashir tries to stop a plague on a society in the Gamma Quadrant which has been infected with a terminal disease engineered by the Jem'Hadar. Though he finds a way to prevent the illness in the next generation, he can do nothing for the living victims, who usually commit suicide when they become symptomatic."

Maybe...but I found it very well-played, quite engaging. And a good first close look at the atrocities the Dominion is capable of.
Indeed. Jadzia also really cut Bashir down to size and it was nice to see Bashir rebound from that.
